Cash Machine Fraud Awareness

Good Morning to you all,

i would like to remind all our residents to stay vigilant when using cash machines (ATMS).

Criminals may attempt to steal cards or PIN numbers using devices such as skimming tools, hidden cameras, or car-trapping mechanisms, as well as they will engage in conversation while another will steal your card.

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF;

Inspect the ATM before use, If anything looks loose, damaged, or unusual, do not use it

Cover the keypad when entering your PIN

Check your bank statements regularly for unauthorized transactions.

Report suspicious activity immediately to your bank or local authorities .
